Have no fear! We’ve got you covered with fun virtual programming. With a mix of both live and prerecorded programs, there is something for everyone.
Without further ado, we give you our weekly programs complete with registration links.
Every Day:
Love unicorns? Love stories? Love listening to stories about unicorns? Then tune in to our YouTube channel to listen to Miss Betsey read one chapter a day of Into the Land of the Unicorns by Bruce Coville. All you need to do is click on this link.
Mondays:
Every Monday at 1:00pm, you can check out the library’s Kid’s Stories YouTube playlist for a new Story Time! Usually there will be two stories read aloud. There are already some great videos on there that you can watch by clicking this link.
Tuesdays:
It’s alive! It’s alive! This program is live! Love music? Love to dance? Then register for our weekly Zoom Dance Party at this link. Once you register, you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting ID and password. This event will occur every Tuesday at 1:00pm. We hope to see you there!
Pokémon Club returns! Want to learn how to play the card game? Have new Pokémon cards that you want to show off? Just want to talk to other kids who love Pokémon as much as you do? Then register for this weekly event. Pokémon Club will occur every Tuesday at 6:00pm.
Wednesdays:
Head over to our YouTube Kids Stuff playlist for a new set of book talks every Wednesday at 1:00pm! Miss Becca will be talking about some great graphic novels that you can check out from the library as soon as we reopen. In this meantime, this is a great resource to start building up your kids TBR list!
Thursdays:
Are you a kid that loves to doodle? Do you have a kid or kids who love to draw? Then register for our Zoom Doodle Class at this link. All you need for this fun and low-key event is some blank paper, coloring supplies, and your imagination! This program will occur every Thursday at 1:00pm
Fridays:
Your Fridays just got more interesting! We decided to mix things up a bit for our Friday programs: every other Friday we will have a prerecorded virtual STEM experiment. Check this link for a list of the materials needed to do the experiment as well as the dates of the program.
On the Fridays we do not have a STEM experiment, we will be doing a Zoom Origami Class for kids. Both of these events will occur at 1:00pm. To register your child for origami please click on this link. No origami paper? No problem! Just make sure you have a pair of scissors and white printer paper on hand!
